In cooperation with our local partners in Lebanon and Northern Syria, we are launching our Annual Ramadan Meals Campaign to provide daily meals to the most vulnerable refugees in tented settings, displaced families, and those suffering from economic hardships in Northwest Syria, and the Beqaa Valley of Lebanon. This vital initiative is a testament to the power of collective compassion, working hard to alleviate the hardships faced by vulnerable populations during the holy month of Ramadan.
Our campaign led by dedicated volunteers on the ground. The project focuses on providing hot meals daily to 1500 families, benefiting a total of 7500 individuals on daily basis. The meals will be prepared at a local kitchen run by local volunteer cooks from both refugee and host communities.
Meals will be distributed before Iftar time in the Beqaa Valley and Northern Syria, considering family size and needs as determined through a comprehensive needs assessment. During Ramadan, we are reminded of the importance of compassion and generosity towards those in severe need.
